Operator

Randstad Recruitment is seeking experienced Civil Operators to join our dynamic team on various projects across Perth.

Duties:

• Operate, maintain, monitor, and repair wastewater assets, operational sites and public facilities as required.
• Carry out operation and maintenance tasks requiring use of specialist tools, plant, and equipment
• Participate in safe job planning, team meetings and workplace inspections.
• Demonstrate leadership by ensuring that all work is undertaken with safety as the priority in the provision of a work environment where no injury is considered acceptable, and all activities are undertaken without compromising health and safety.
• Ability to work after hours and participate on a standby roster

Requirements

• Long term work rights in Australia
• Construction White Card
• HR or MR Licence
• Current Confined Space, Working at Heights and Gas Test Atmospheres tickets
• Able to work in a wastewater environment (sewage) – relevant vaccinations required
• Good communication skills
• Working knowledge of Work Health and Safety
• Ability to work both independently and within a team
